Deposit and Cancellation Policies

Small Groups (Fewer than 8 passengers)
For groups of fewer than 8 passengers, we require a deposit of $100.00 at the time of your booking to confirm your tour reservation. The deposit is non-refundable. For cancellations within 72 hours of service, the full fare of the tour is forfeited.

Larger Groups (8 or more passengers)
For groups of 8 passengers or more , we require a deposit of 50% of the price of the charter. These deposits are non-refundable. The deposit is non-refundable. For cancellations within 14 days of service, the full fare of the tour is forfeited.

Special event deposits may vary.

 
Minimum Group Size for Small Groups
We require a minimum of 4 paying passengers for each tour, due to our fixed costs. If your group is smaller than 4 passengers, you can still take a tour with us by paying the cost for 4 passengers.
 
Tasting Fees
The cost of our tours does not include tasting fees. Each winery policy is different on tasting fees, with many not charging a fee, others charging $5 per person, and some having different policies depending on the group size. Most wineries will apply tasting fees to a wine purchase if you choose to buy some of their wine. If you would like us to focus your itinerary on wineries that don't have fees, please let us know, and we'll do our best.
 
Out of Area Pickup
We are based in the heart of both the Monterey Bay and Santa Cruz County. Pickup anywhere on the Monterey Bay, Santa Cruz County or Santa Clara County is included in the cost of the tour. If you'd like to be picked up or dropped off outside of our local area, please call to inquire about possible surcharges.
 
Smoking
Our vehicle is a non-smoking vehicle. If you smoke, and need to stop for smoke breaks, we'll be happy to accommodate.
 
Damage and Excess Cleaning
Client is responsible for all damages and excess cleaning caused by negligence of yhour group. .
 
Lost Items
Quintessential Tours is not responsible for lost items.
