Santa Cruz Wine Tours is devoted to providing customized, informative and entertaining wine experience in the Santa Cruz Mountains and other California wine regions.

It's easy to visit a place. To truly experience it is another matter. My passion is discovering the essence of a place, and sharing it with others. I created Santa Cruz Mountain Wine Tours as a means by which to realize this passion in my own back yard.

As for my own background, I'm a native Californian. I'm a Bruin with a Creative Writing degree. I enjoy my food and my wine. I believe in having fun, and enjoy sharing good times with companions and guests. I've worked on the creative side of high tech, and I've traveled extensively, both east and west of the Prime Meridian. I've called Santa Cruz County home with the love of my life for the past 11 years.

Melissa Schilling - Contessa d' Consumption

Traveling the world, I developed a passion for food and wine. While earning my Master of Science in Agriculture, I began working in a tasting room in San Luis Obispo. Next, I spent time in Napa amongst historic vineyards such as BV 1 & 2, Beckstoffer, To Kalon and Winery Lake - working for several wineries. Now home on the Central Coast I organize cheese and wine tastings, wax poetic on farming organically and adore Pinot Noir and Albarino.

Tabitha Stroup - Dutchess du Goblet

I'm not fond of rules. I find them especially odious when it comes to food, wine and enjoyment. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Social Anthropology and Food Science at Cal Poly and then moved on to the California Culinary Academy - girl knows her stuff. A bonafide fromage expert, I will guide you on a journey of pleasure and leisure. I've served as pastry chef at Theo's and the Dream Inn and know every vine, wine, nook and cranny in the Santa Cruz Mountains. I live on my own private vineyard with my kitty, Oscar Wilde.
